CRIT Athletes Strike Gold at North American Indigenous Games
July 7, 2005

Fifteen CRIT girls and girls from two other tribes played for Team AZ in this year’s North American Indigenous Games 2006 in Denver, Colorado.

The highlight of the event for the CRIT girls was bringing home Gold Medals in the 13-14 and 17-19 age groups in girls’ volleyball. The event took place in the first week of July.

It was an exciting adventure for the girls, who showed their true selves and cultural pride among thousands of Native youth from all over North America.
