Statement from CRIT Chairman Daniel Eddy Jr. on the Failure of Proposed Recall Effort

"I was gratified, but not surprised, to learn that a sweeping recall effort against the entire Tribal Council had died for apparent lack of interest and support. We would like to thank the members of our tribes who saw through these political games, and who maintained their support for our system of government and the electoral process."

"On behalf of the Council, I wanted to let our people know, along with the people of our region, that we have already put this unfortunate issue behind us. We are moving on with the important work that we were elected to do, including providing vital services, education and economic opportunity for our members."
